TRANSPARENT PETS NO LONGER WORK AS OF THE END OF 2024. YOU CAN ONLY SOFT FAKE TRANSPARENT PETS, BUT YOU CAN'T CLAIM PETS AS TRANSPARENT ANYMORE.
You can make pets transparent during the softing or rare coloring process by simply adding two numbers to the end of the color codes for the pet.
Pet transparency can be set between 00 (fully transparent) and 99 (barely transparent).
For example, when recoloring a Boonie, there are 5 default colors. To achieve full transparency, simply insert into the defaultcolors portion of the JSON text:
#FFFFFF00,#FFFFFF00,#FFFFFF00,#FFFFFF00,#FFFFFF00
FFFFFF is the hex code for white, and 00(%) is the lowest transparency possible. Using a specific color is not necessary when using 00, though, as the pet will be fully transparent.
If you would like a pet that is not fully transparent, you can use any color you'd like, just adding between 00-99 for your desired transparency.
For example, when recoloring a Boonie that you would like to be a mildly transparent pink, insert into the defaultcolors portion of the JSON text:
#FFCDCD50,#FFCDCD50,#FFCDCD50,#FFCDCD50,#FFCDCD50
FFCDCD is the hex code for a pink, and 50(%) is the desired transparency.
You can mix and match what portions of your pet you would like to be transparent as well! Just add the 00-99 for any part of the pet's color codes you'd like :)
