Projects!
Here are some of the projects I have worked on in the past. Currently at GT I am looking for a lab group.
Are AGN driving galaxies transistion
For two years I worked in Dr. Lauranne Lanz's research group at TCNJ. Here we studied the role that Active Galactic nucleus take the transition of galaxies. To the left is a paper just published by Dr. Lanz where I worked on the code for the results of the paper. We focused on a few galaxies through two telescopes (Chandra and NuStar) and future work in this group will be expanding the telescopes and galaxies studied.

A magazine article discussing space exploration in the future
Synchronization of oscillators with nearest neighbors interactions
On this project I spent a year working with Dr. Matthew Mizuhara on studying the kuromoto model with special attention to twisted states. The concept behind the model can be seen in fireflies, bridges, crowds and more. There is a point in which a chaotic system becomes spontanous and the work prior to the was done on a signal dimention. We took it to two dimetions where there are neightbors surrounding and a horizontal and veritcal componet to the phase shift. The results are in the paper published in 2021 seen to the below
Double Stars at United States Naval Observatory
The U.S. Naval Observatory is the largest contributor to updating double star orbits and magnitudes. In the recent years a new camera has been installed onto the 26 in telescope allowing for more stars to be resolved as two stars. I have interned here for two summers help to observe and improve the methods of storing data and preparing materials to analysis and papers.
