Hi, I’m Sofia Stepanoff!

I am currently a physics Ph.D. student at Georgia Tech. Here I work with Dr. Nepomuk Otte on the Trinity Demonstrator.

At my alma mater TCNJ, I worked on different projects allowing me to explore my interests. Check out my projects to see some of my work.

Outside of school, I enjoy playing Minecraft, tennis, and learning origami. I do sometimes fall down the rabbit hole of watching too many transportation and highway construction videos on youtube as well.

For the past two summers (2021, 2022), I working in Washington, DC at the U.S Naval Observatory studying double stars.
