Tuition

Complete the registration form and submit $50 application fee.
Email a recording of two contrasting etudes/works. File format can be .mov, .wav, .mp4 or links to

*Recordings can be files or links to recordings shared via Google, Dropbox, YouTube, SoundCloud, etc.

You'll receive an email confirming receipt of your completed application.
On acceptance, you'll receive a link to pay fees.

Scholarships

One Talent-based and One Need-Based Scholarship, covering 50% of tuition will be awarded in 2023.

To be considered for a talent-based scholarship, students should

indicate their interest in their online registration
email link to recordings of two contrasting works/etudes (each selection needs to be a minimum of 4 minutes) to the following address: lswinden@uwaterloo.ca by APRIL 1, 2023

To be considered for a need-based scholarship, students should

complete the relevant portion of the online registration form.
email two letters of reference that speak to the student's intention to attend and financial need to the following address: lswinden@uwaterloo.ca

Deadline for need-based scholarship consideration is APRIL 1, 2023.

LATIN-AMERICAN STUDENTS: Special Tuition Rates are available to citizens of Latin-American countries that take into account cost-of-living and income discrepancies in these regions. Please inquire with Laurel Swinden.

Studio Discount

Two students participating from the same studio will each receive $40 off tuition.
