Spectators must have a ticket to each recital. Children 2 years old and under get in free, but without a seat. If you would like a seat for your child under the age of 2, please purchase them a ticket. The doors will open 30 minutes prior to each performance. NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE show UNTIL THE DOORS HAVE BEEN OPENED. We ask that you be polite and courteous to other audience members when going to and from your reserved seats.
Performance ETIQUETTE
We want everyone who participates in and attends our recital to thoroughly enjoy the performance. Below are a few items that if followed, will greatly enhance the experience for all involved.
Courtesy is contagious. When adults practice courtesy, children will follow.
Applause is appreciated and encouraged!
NO flash photography will be allowed during the recital.
There is no videotaping the performance. Everyone can purchase a professional copy of the show(s). This also helps prevent cameras from blocking the view of audience members.
All cell phones, pagers, iPads, beepers and other electronic devices must be turned off or silenced.
Please sit still and keep your feet off the chairs in front of you at all times. As per fire regulations, no one may sit or stand in the aisles, nor may children run around.
‘Silence is Golden’ - Talking during a performance is very distracting to people around you- please refrain.
Babies and young children are very welcome to attend recital, but if they are fussy or crying we ask that you please remove them from the audience as it is distracting for fellow audience members as well as our dreamers.
Audience members may enter and exit the venue between performances ONLY-not while dreamers are performing on stage. Opening and closing of doors is disruptive, so we ask audience members to remain seated during performances. If you must leave, please do so in between numbers. Please do not be unkind to Lincoln Way East workers or SOD staff as they are following our instructions. Plus, we don't want you to miss any of the show!
