How do I browse Instagram Stories anonymously on iPhone or Android

Stories aren't the best option for those who want to keep your Instagram private.

You can look up the story of someone else and inform them that you've watched it even if you do not have a connection with each other.

There are many ways to go through an Story without getting not being noticed.

They are valid regardless of whether you are using Instagram using your Android or iPhone device.

The tried-and-tested method of flying mode is by far the most evident.

Here's how it is done: Open Instagram and it will load the latest Stories onto your phone. Then, you can slide down the notification bar on the top of your screen , and activate flight mode.

The entire Stories can be viewed in anonymity. Be sure to quit the app after you have viewed Stories in anonymity.

You may also opt to create a separate account. Multiple accounts are possible provided you have email addresses. If the account is private and you want to view their Stories, you must be friends with them in order to access their stories.

Certain people won't accept invitations from random accounts they don't even know.

Instagram allows you to switch accounts Instagram with ease.

You can also check out one of the numerous websites which allow you to browse Stories in complete anonymity.

They only work only if your account is made public.

StoriesDown and AnonIGViewer will display your Instagram Stories in a private way without having to sign in to the app.

You can also browse various old posts without having to sign in to these websites.

No more DMs

It is possible to send a simple "Like" to let others know about the Stories you're seeing. It will not cause the sending of a DM being received.

Any reply to an Story that you have sent out would have been sent to their email inbox.

Instagram is now allowing you to Like a Story on Instagram to show your appreciation.

"So now when your Stories are going through between sending messages and that tiny paper plane, you will see an icon of the heart." explained Adam Mosseri back in February.

Instagram will notify me when I save or copy their posts.

Instagram does not notify users when someone has taken photos (or saved) or saved any of their reels, posts or permanent DM conversations.

You could also make an audio or video recording of the blog post, allowing you to relax into the bushes in the peace.

Instagram lets users see how many people have saved their posts by creating an account for a business or the creator. However Instagram does not display the individual users.

Instagram will notify someone when a screenshot is taken of a missing image or video shared via an anonymous DM.
