Non-Profit Onboarding 

Non-Profit Onboarding is the first step to familiarize yourself with all the services available at your fingertips and begin your journey with the app. All you have to do is follow the steps mentioned herein, and fill the required details for a hassle-free onboarding. 

1. Getting Started


Hey there, let's get you started on our easy-to-use online user guide. 


                       1.1 Sign Up

                            (Note: For new users)

                            1. Go to the URL https://sociallygood.com, choose the Non-Profit section.

2. Scroll down to Non-Profit section and then click on Try it for Free button

3. Click on profile Icon  and then click on Sign Up button.

4. Fill up the registration form.

5.  Please verify your emailId by clicking on the link received in your inbox. 

6.  You can Login using your credentials. 

1.2 Sign In

(Note: For already registered users)

Go to the URL https://sociallygood.com, choose the Non-Profit section.


Click on the Profile icon, fill your credentials and click Sign in.

2. Non-Profit Profile Management

2.1 Non-Profit Profile update

At the left-hand corner, click on the NGO icon/Non-Profit Profile, which will display separate topics to be filled in. 

(Mandatory Note: Kindly click “Save” for every step, after submitting the details on a particular page.)


Profile Update

1. Go to Basic Details form and Click on Edit

2. In the Basic details form fill in all the details about the Non-Profit.

3. Select the causes on which Non-Profit is working. Selecting the causes is very important as it will help to associate the campaigns with respective causes during campaign creation.

4.  Next, go to Legal Details and fill all the details.

2.2  Update Microsite

Microsite is like a mini-website which gives visibility of your Non-Profit to users. Also you can prime the ongoing campaigns. There are 2 types of templates available for Microsite.

Note: To update the Microsite to Popular Microsite campaigns should already be created.

 a. View Microsite

      Click on Non-Profit Profile → Microsite and then the Microsite card. This will display a pre-filled template with information from Basic Details form.

b. Change Microsite Template

      1.  Click on Edit to choose the Popular Microsite template.

         2. Choose the Popular template from Choose Template section, and click on Detail tab.

4. Click on Add Image to upload a good resolution Non-Profit banner image..

5. Scroll down to the Campaign section. Click on it to display the Control Panel, where you can select Campaign type and the actual Campaign to mark it as prime.

6.  Click Save.

2.3 Import Contacts

You can import all the existing contacts of your Non-Profit to your account.

         a. Download the import file format by clicking on Click here link.

b. Fill out all the details and upload the same file.

View All Contacts/Edit/Add individual contacts can be done  Non-Profit Contact Management section. To visit, click here.

2.4 Setup Payment Gateway

Set up a payment gateway to receive donations directly into your account. We provide you with three options i.e. Razorpay, PayPal, and UPI Payment.


NOTE: If Payment Gateway is not set then Donors can pledge their Donation. In that case, it is the responsibility of the Non-Profit to collect the pledged amount from donors.

a. Razor Pay : 

2. From the drop-down menu, select Razorpay 

3. Then, fill in the details Merchant Key Id and Merchant Key Secret. Click on the Save button. ( Follow the steps mentioned on the right side for further details.) 

b. PayPal:

2. From the drop-down menu, select PayPal. Fill Client Id and Secret Key. ( Follow the steps mentioned on the right side for further details.) 

3. Click on the Save button. 

c. UPI Payment : 

2. From the drop-down menu, select UPI Payment. 

3. Select the 'VPA' radio button. 

4. Enter Account Name and Virtual Payment Address. 

5. Click on the Show QR Code button. 

6. Select the 'I have done test transaction and verified that given details are valid.' check box. 

7. Click on the Save button. 

2.5 Subscription Management

2. You can download your invoice by clicking on the Download  Invoice button. 

3. You can view the Transaction history under the Subscription screen. 

2.6 Update Non-Profit Settings

Click on  Non-Profit Profile → Settings. You can change your Preferred Currency, Timezone, and Password in the Non-Profit Profile Settings page.


1.Change Preferred Currency and Time Zone 

a. Go to Non-Profit Profile → Settings and click on Edit. 

b. From the picklist, select Preferred Currency, and Preferred Timezone then Click on the Save button.

2. Change the Password 

a. Go to Non-Profit Profile → Settings and click on Edit

b. Go to the change password option, enter old and new passwords, click on the Change Password button then, click on the Save button. 

3. Non-Profit User Admin Management

A provision is made to invite multiple admins to manage the Non-Profit app

1. From the side menu, click on Users. This will list out the existing admins.


2. Click on Add New, to add multiple admins. 

3. Fill the form and Save it. This will trigger an invitation mail to the email ID of the user as mentioned in the form. 

4. The invited admin information can be seen after clicking on OK

5. From here the steps should be followed by invited user. The user receives the mail in the inbox and must click on the given link.

6. Clicking on the link redirect users to the Sign Up page of SociallyGood with pre-filled details except the Password. Enter a strong password and click on Sign Up.

7. The user receives an email verification link and clicks on it for confirmation. Now the admin can simply Sign In using the valid credentials.
