Marxism and Leninism are two kinds of political thought that show some difference between them when it comes to their ideologies. Marxism is a political thought framed by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. This Marxist system aims at a state of living where the society is bereft of the difference between the rich and the poor. To put this type of government in place even the rulers would not be allowed to have access to property, money, or other chattel goods that exceed what the people have - but it NEVER works that way! Marxism also is a form of government which is intolerant of any criticism of government or government officials. The penalty is usually death!
On the other hand, Leninism is a kind of a political system that practices dictatorship. It is the dictatorship of the proletariat. In other words, it can be said that Leninism recommends the dictatorship of the working class. This is one of the main differences between Marxism and Leninism.
n. The class of industrial wage earners who, possessing neither capital nor production means, must earn their living by selling their labor.
n. The poorest class of working people.

Marxism-Leninism is a slight modification by Vladimir Lenin to the Marxism ideology, which was a driving force in the first fruitful communist revolution in Russia in 1917. Consequently, Marxism-Leninism became the foundation of communist movements all around the world by the twentieth century.
Non-Marxist forms of socialism may put just as much emphasis on class struggle and worker organization as Marxism but they might not. A key example is anarcho-syndicalism, which was based on building up worker controlled unions and government use of direct struggle to build organization and class power.
Note: this is also why most people equate socialism to communism!
Socialism is a social and economic doctrine that calls for public rather than private ownership or control of property and natural resources.
Definition of socialism : a way of organizing a society in which major industries are owned and controlled by the government rather than by individual people and companies.
Venezuela is a prime example of how bad socialism can go! When the government refuses to use collected 'taxes'
for the greater good of the people or country - everyone will suffer - equally!

US Constitution
Article IV Section 4
The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.
Note: Republican here has nothing to do with the current republican political party!
The word republic, derived from the Latin res publica, or "public thing," refers to a form of government where the citizens conduct their affairs for their own benefit rather than for the benefit of a ruler.
The current government in America has gotten to the point the people are nothing more than revenue generators to be taxed, licensed, registered, and forced to pay exorbitant fees before being allowed to exercise their rights!
Capitalist buys a factory, hires others to manufacture products, which the factory owner then sells, keeping the profits, after all expenses are paid, including wages. If there is an explosion that destroys the factory, the capitalist bears the cost of rebuilding, relocating, or discontinuing production, the employees disperse to other jobs, with no financial burden to the destroyed factory.
A Socialist desires ownership of a factory, but all industry is owned and operated by the government. The best they can hope for is a government contract, which will only pay the socialist what the government thinks a management position is worth!
The choice is work for the government or work for a capitalist!
