As COVID-19 had caused all regional and global competitions to grind to a halt, the next best alternative is to hold debate competitions online. As such, we will be taking advantage of online platforms to ensure that SYTYCD 2021 will be run smoothly. Please read through our step-by-step guide on the softwares we will be using. All the softwares listed below are mandatory, and will be used throughout the competition.
Zoom
We will be using Zoom throughout the entire competition. This includes opening ceremonies, debates, qualifying ceremonies and closing ceremonies. If you don't already have a Zoom account, click here to sign up for Zoom. If you don't already have the Zoom app, click here to download the app.
Upon registration, please use your real name for easy identification. When you receive your team number, set up your zoom name in this fashion: 000_Your Name.
2. Discord
We will be using Discord as the platform for prep. Should Zoom fail for some reason, Discord will also be our backup platform for the competition. To download Discord, click here.

3. WhatsApp
We will be using WhatsApp for urgent notifications and updates. Head on to your App Store to download the WhatsApp Messenger app.

Do note that there will be no semi-prepped rounds -- all rounds will be impromptu. We wish you the best of luck!
Teams of 2 will be required for this competition. You are expected to find your own teammate for this competition. Head on to our Register page to register your team. Only one person should fill out the form per team.
