When it comes to debating, some of us are completely new to it, whilst others are striving for perfection. Introducing SYTYCD Bootcamp, a series of workshops that anyone can attend, free of charge!

Welcome to our second workshop in our Bootcamp series! We invite returning speaker, Barron Ren, for SYTYCD Bootcamp 2.

Barron first started debating in 2017, becoming the second best novice speaker in North America in 2019, and won Taiwan Debate Open and Seattle IV in 2020. He joined Team China last year, in which he won and got best speaker in China BP and finalist in European Schools Debate Open. Barron will cover basic debating techniques, making extensions and whip speeches within this workshop.
