In Perspective
(Film Club, Shiv Nadar School, Noida)
In Perspective’ brings into focus an array of thoughts, experiences, views and opinions over a varied range of subjects.
This cinematic experience is bound to move you, inspire you and prod you on to speak up. ‘Amongst the agreements and the disagreements, the ease and the unease, passivity will find no space.
Own up the space to create your own ‘montage’. You are free to sometimes ‘dissolve’, and sometimes be brazen enough to say ‘cut’! While you choose your own set of ‘frames’, notions and patterns will be created and whether you ‘pan’ across or go into ‘flashback’ is a choice you make.
The invitation is – ‘low angle’, ‘top angle’ or ‘over the shoulder’, zoom in into your version of the truth and present your view ‘In Perspective’!
Learning, Unlearning and Relearning is a cycle that all of us need to follow, more so if one is an educator, since what we think and believe in, we also carry into our classrooms. The initiation of the Shiv Nadar School, Noida Film Club –‘In Perspective’ was done keeping this thought in mind.
The film club runs as a collaborative effort between the Library, Neel Sen Gupta from the theatre team & Bijit Sarkar from the Maths Team.
