Spoken Word Series

Poetry is not merely a skill to read and write, it goes beyond the obvious, sometimes deep into the realm of the unknown, the abstract.

The poetry club of the Shiv Nadar School, Noida was initiated on the 12th of July, 2017 ,also marked as the birthday of the celebrated poet Pablo Neruda.

Poetry and creativity went hand in hand as we shared poetry by well known poets like Emily Dickinson, to lesser known poets like Rupi Kaur, besides our own budding student poets within the school. Writing and sharing of poetry across the senior school took place as many young poets emerged.

We also launched the ‘Spoken Word’ series where many of our students performed their original pieces.
