I have personally visited countries such as Mexico, Canada, India, Peru, and England. I know from first hand experience how chaotic it is to juggle multiple hotels, international flights, domestic flights, tours, places to eat, the list goes on and on. With Rick Steves Tours, everything is done for you. You do not have to worry about major headaches that can happen with travel and you are even given free time to explore on our own or even book things ahead of time that you may want to do (I see my type A folks out there). For my type B people, go with the flow, just ask your Tour guide (who will be with you throughout the duration of the trip)
One important fact I learned from my tour with Rick Steve's is that do not be afraid to get lost and explore. Rick Steve has been known to get to the heart of things and not worry so much about propriety when learning about the city. Do not be shy on your trip. At our core, Max and I are both incredibly introverted people, but we pushed ourselves to try to see this part of the world and learn about the culture and history. Step out of your shoes and embed yourself. You always regret what you didn't do on
Plan ahead! I know Rick Steve's does a great job of making sure you can see important parts of the place you visit! But it is impossible to do everything with everyone, therefore, you should research ahead of time what might good to see on your own!
Travel light! Do not attempt to bring so much stuff. There is laundry available at the hotels and you need space in your suit case to bring memorabilia back!
Make friends with people in your group! I know how hard it is for my fellow introverts but you may end up making life long friends or even enjoying an evening together!
Do not be afraid to try something! As long as you are not doing anything criminal or offensive, it is good to step out of your comfort zone.
