S.N. Bronstein was raised and spent his adult life in South Florida. After receiving undergraduate and graduate degrees from state universities in Florida, he spent 35 years as an educator with the Miami-Dade County Public School System. During the course of his career he worked as a teacher, counselor, truancy investigator, and administrator.

Mr. Bronstein retired from his career as an educator in 2008, and has since written six novels.

The Fairlington Lavender Detective Series is a collection of crime stories written primarily for an adult audience. The Private Eye Cats series are chapter books written for children ages 9-12.

He presently lives in Indialantic, Florida with his wife Dawn and cat Nugget. He devotes his time to writing.
