I worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the MGMT-701 Statistical Analysis for Management Decisions course taught by Dr. Peter Jurkat. It is an Executive MBA course comprised of 60 students. My responsibilities included leading two tutoring sessions each week for three consecutive months and grading homework and quizzes. During each session, I reviewed material from the assigned homework and practice quizzes, using the required textbook Statistics for Business and Economics by James T. McClave, P. George Benson, and Terry Sincich. I maintained open communication with students via email, allowing them to reach out at any time with questions related to homework or quizzes. I primarily used Excel and SPSS to demonstrate problem-solving techniques. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the course was delivered via Zoom, and I conducted all tutoring sessions virtually. Each session was recorded and uploaded to UNM Learn (the university’s learning management system) so that students who were unable to attend could access the materials. Overall, the class performed exceptionally well.
I received some letters of recommendation from the class. Please visit my LinkedIn website to see the recommendations.
