• We welcome Ms. Borwornlak Toopradab as a special visiting student from Chulalongkorn University.

2024

• Prof. Seiji Mori was an invited speaker of PACCON 2024, Bangkok, Thailand (January 26-27, 2024)

• Prof. Ming-Kang Tsai from National Taiwan Normal University visited us and gave a lecture (May 24, 2024）

• Prof. Seiji Mori was an invited speaker at the International Symposium on Science and Education organized by College of Science, National Taiwan Normal University, Taipei (June 6, 2024)

• Prof. Seiji Mori was an invited speaker at the SMARTMAT2024 (International Conference on Smart Materials and Nanotechnology) organized by Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai, Thailand (November 5-8, 2024)

• Prof. Hiroyuki Isobe, Graduate School of Science, The University of Tokyo, was invited as a part-time lecturer and gave a lecture (November 11-12, 2024)

• We held The Tsukuba Physical Chemistry Seminar 2024 at the Faculty Support Organization in Tsukuba city. Shingo Harada, Associate Professor, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chiba University, gave an invited lecture (2024/12/7-8)

2023

• • From Ohashi group at Osaka Metropolitan University, we invited Naoya Taniguchi(D3) as a Special Research Student.

  • As a part of the Sakura Science Exchange Program, we invited students and scholars from Mahidol Univ. (Thailand), VNU-Hanoi University of Science (Vietnam), and National Taiwan Normal University (Taiwan), and had international research sessions for three weeks.

• From Ohashi group in Osaka Metropolitan University, we invited Yusuke Miyazaki(D3) as a Special Research Student.

• Prof. Seiji Mori was a plenary speaker at the TCS Conference 2023, Chennai, India (December 7-10, 2023)

2022

• We successfully organized the 7th International Symposium of Quantum Beam Science at Ibaraki University on December 1-3, 2022.

• Prof. Seiji Mori was an invited speaker of the largest world conference of theoretical and computational chemists, WATOC 2020, Vancouver, Canada (July 3-8, 2022)
