From wildfires and severe windstorms to major utility outages, we know that disasters don't give much warning. When the grid goes down or access is cut off, the most important resource we have is each other.
Thatโs why we are launching the Highlands Neighborhood Network (HNN).
Our goal is simple: Create a communication tree across all 800 homes in the Highlands so we can rapidly identify who is safe and who needs immediate help. We need 2โ3 volunteers on every street to be the "eyes and ears" for their immediate neighbors.ย
