Air Filtration

With the rapid development of economies and global industrialization, air pollution has become one of the most severe threats to human health and life. Among various particulate pollutants, fine particle matter (PM) including PM10 (≤10 μm) or PM2.5 (≤2.5 μm) are recognized as the most harmful ones because they can easily pass through the respiratory tract and cause chronic respiratory and cardiovascular diseases. Thus, the increasing global demand for clean air has inspired scientists to develop high performance air filters for mitigating PM and improving air quality.

To address the abovementioned problems, we study a simple and economical synthesis technique for new levels of air filters.
