We can not ignore the way power generation is going to alter the way smart cities will perform. It will affect the way buildings react and deliver, together with perhaps the bigest change in the way they look, as we change the shape, and orientation to suite maximum power collection from solar, and wind, not to mention the internal workings of motion .
Many aspects of a smart city will require a new generation of power distribution and creation. For big cities aiming to be considered smart, solar and other green technologies should be considered, together with storage to last the dark hours
