Clinical Therapy

As a licensed clinical social worker, I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals, families, and professionals across diverse settings, with a particular commitment to accessible, high-quality behavioral health services in rural and underserved communities.

I have served children, families, and adults in home-based, school, and outpatient environments, tailoring care to meet clients where they are. My clinical work is informed by real-world practice, cultural humility, and a deep respect for the resilience of the people and communities I serve.

Clinical Supervision

In addition to direct practice, I have provided clinical supervision to more than 50 professionals across rural Minnesota who were working toward licensure as LPCCs or LICSWs. My supervision style is supportive, reflective, and skill-focused, designed to foster clinical confidence, ethical practice, and professional identity development. I value supervision as a space for growth, curiosity, and honest dialogue.

Training  and Well Being

I also bring over 15 years of experience in higher education, teaching social work skills, ethics and perspectives at both undergraduate and graduate levels. This academic background strengthens my ability to translate theory into practice and to support emerging and seasoned professionals through teaching, consultation, and training. I am experienced in curriculum development, mentoring, and facilitating meaningful learning experiences that emphasize self awareness, critical thinking and applied skills.

My work has included extensive collaboration with public, private, and government agencies to integrate behavioral health into broader systems of care. This includes advancing behavioral health integration within healthcare settings and promoting well-being and early intervention in school systems throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin.
