A 2022 SLTrib article named the chicken tendies at the Jordan Landing Cinemark some of the best in Utah -- and not even in a real restaurant. Find out with us what exactly the deal is and how dubious the transit there is!
Itinerary:
12:00 p.m.: Meet at American Plaza downtown
12:36-1:13: Red Line from Gallivan to Jordan Valley [1]
1:24-1:34: Route 240 to Jordan Landing
(later): Return via Red Line as convenient
[1] At the time of this SLURM, the Red Line from Courthouse to University Medical was undergoing a 2½-month construction closure and was rerouted to Salt Lake Central. (Did UTA really need 2½ months? Could they have done multiple sections in parallel? Did they learn what not to do with the 4R next time? Many are wondering...)
POST-SLURM UPDATE: The chicken tendies were...to to put it not so kindly, absolutely not deserving of being on any list. Nonetheless, it was nice to get a redemption trip after failing to acquire any tendies when we did the same trip a year ago (May 4, 2024). By unanimous vote, we ended up taking the Green Line back into town to knock the 240 off of everyone's "I rode this whole bus" lists.
