No special action is required for FCPS Google Apps for Education at the end of the school year, unless you are leaving FCPS (see details below). Accounts for students enrolled in FCPS will remain available to students throughout the summer, though there will be a forced password change for all users before the start of the new school year. Here are some things you may want to do before leaving for the summer:
Since items shared with you are owned by other users, if those users leave FCPS or unshare the items, you will no longer have access to those items. Making a copy of important items shared with you will make sure you have them in the future.
You can create folders to organize your files and streamline your My Drive list.
If there are any files that you no longer need, you can delete them -- though be aware that if you have shared those files with others, deleting them will remove shared users’ access to those files. Transfer ownership to another user for any files that others may need to use again in the future.
