The Slatington Public Library seeks a dynamic, organized, and community-minded individual to serve as Library Director. This full-time position (34–38 hours/week) requires a certified professional (per PA state guidelines) with clearances. The Director will oversee all aspects of library operations, including programming, budgeting, staff supervision, collection management, public relations, and community outreach, all in alignment with the library’s strategic plan and in coordination with the Board of Trustees. Strong leadership, communication, and administrative skills are essential, along with proficiency in library technologies. This role includes some evenings and Saturdays. Salary, starting at $34,000, is commensurate with experience and education; no medical or retirement benefits are offered.
