Slad and Rad

Slad and Rad is a Russian candy blog. The name comes from the Russian words sladosti (сладости) meaning candy and radosti (радости) meaning happiness.

I'm American, but I love all things Russian! I studied Russian while in university, lived and worked in Russia for one year, and backpacked all throughout Russia.

Russian candy is interesting, delicious, and sometimes nasty, and I live to tell the tale. Feel free to ask me anything you want about Russia or Russian candy!
