Detski Souvenir

This guy was a wild ride from start to finish! First of all, I was not expecting an owl shape at all based on the packaging. So surprise, it was adorable. In the US, we only eat shaped chocolate when it comes in rabbit or turkey form (correct me if i am wrong.) So I feel like the fact that it's shaped is a kitschy touch. And the owl has a filling! It’s is a mix of fudge and subtle caramel. The filling really wasn’t that great, it was a bit sickly sweet, but how freakin' cute is the owl!?!?? "Souvenir" is a word that is used much more frequently in Russian than it is in English.
