MoPADA- SL is a humanitarian national non- governmental organization in Bo District, Sierra Leone. Since its establishment in 2004 as a community based organization operating in two chiefdoms in Kailahun district, MoPADA- SL has developed over the years into a well-respected humanitarian agency currently operating in four districts- Bo, Kailahun, Pujehun and Kenema. In 2010, it became a national coordinating secretariat headed in Bo. The MoPADA constitution was adopted by an act of parliament in 2004 and admitted as a member of non- governmental organization and the Mano River Union in 2010. It has over 6000 clientele of its interventions. MoPADA works through four district field officers covering a few areas in the south and eastern part of Sierra Leone. As a member of the NGO and the Mano River Union member, MoPADA- SL works with and in partnership with a number of partners in the execution of its mission. These include the government of Sierra Leone, United Nations Agencies, and other development sister partners both local non-governmental organization and international non-governmental organizations.

AREA OF OPERATION:
Our area of operation are in the Southern Bo, Pujehun Districts , Kenema and Kailahun district in the eastern region.
MoPADA- SL has contributed in its own way through trainings in collaboration with Ministry of Agriculture Forestry and Food Security (MAFFS) by bringing together women farmers and mothers clubs to improve their livelihoods.
We have a mandate to improve nutrition in Sierra Leone. We support farmers that are supplying Benne and groundnut to Bennimix Company in Sierra Leone through grants etc.
