Why can’t I find the compass?
Your compass should be located at the bottom of your screen. To locate it, simply point your camera to the ground and a compass should appear.
If you are still experiencing difficulty locating the compass, go to Display on the Settings menu, and locate the Heads Up Display. Verify that the Compass box is checked.
Why is my view not in the right direction?
Your view may not be in the right position due to calibration issues. Make sure to recalibrate your phone by opening the Settings menu, and clicking “View Calibration” to begin. If your compass is not pointing North, select the Manual option, and click and drag the icon until the compass adjusts correctly.
If your phone view is still not in the right direction after that, it may be due to other interferences such as magnetic fields and large metal objects. Make sure to try SkyView away from these interferences for best results.
Why don’t I have the option to calibrate my view?
Android users do not currently have the option to calibrate their view. If you are on iOS and do not have the option to calibrate your view, try updating the app.
