As a doctoral student, she is currently researching the impact of climate change on the coastlines of Karaikal and Puducherry, India. Given the current frequency of disasters associated with coastline erosion, her work is of great significance. 

Research Area: River Science and Plastic Pollution

As a doctoral student, she is currently researching the impact of macro/micro/nano plastic on the riverine ecosystem. Given the current need for understanding the negative impact of plastic pollution on the riverine ecosystem, her work is of great significance. 

Research Area: Coastal Flooding and Climate Risk Finance

As a master's student, she is researching the effects of coastal flooding on coastal communities and developing protective measures for such events.
