Offer Check — Privacy policy

Versions covered: Offer Check 0.1.0 and 0.1.1. Version coverage does not establish Store approval or public availability.
What Offer Check does
Offer Check compares manually entered HKD offer scenarios. It uses your chosen price meaning, received quantity and qualification assumption to show arithmetic. It does not monitor shops, verify offers or eligibility, recommend a purchase, submit an order, collect payment or guarantee savings. Version 0.1.1 changes the short description and version labels, not the retained input-processing behavior.
Information processed
The open workspace processes only information you type or paste: prices, quantities, pack counts, offer modes, shop/product/source labels, condition notes, qualification choices, language, comparison results and the complete report. A source label is inert manual text; no URL is validated, fetched or opened. Unknown eligibility stays unresolved unless you deliberately change it.
Temporary data and no persistent storage
Entries, choices, notes, language and reports exist only in the open workspace memory. They are not saved, logged, synced, uploaded or associated with an account. There is no autosave, import/export file, history or crash/upgrade recovery feature. Closing, reloading or updating can lose the workspace. Browser tab restoration is not a backup. Copy what you need before leaving. Clearing entries does not erase text already copied elsewhere.
Permissions and browser metadata
The exact extension declares zero permissions, no optional or host permissions and no content scripts. It does not read website content, website URLs/titles, browsing history, cookies, other page forms, accounts, files or existing clipboard contents. The extension has no analytics, advertisements, remote extension code, payment processor, server or automatic network feature. Its local content policy blocks connections.
The toolbar opens or focuses only this extension's exact own workspace. It uses Chrome's own extension TAB-context metadata and temporary context/document/tab/window identifiers to locate and verify that page. Fixed OC_WORKSPACE_READY messages carry no entered values, notes, labels or reports. During requested new-tab creation, at most 64 general tab-close IDs from the requested window can be held temporarily for bounded cleanup; these are not website URLs, titles or a browsing-history log. Query/focus failure does not create a replacement automatically. Temporary worker routing/reservations are not persistent user records or publisher telemetry.
Copying
Copy report writes the complete reviewed report to the system clipboard only after your explicit click. The extension never reads the clipboard. If writing is unavailable, it selects the complete requested report for your own keyboard copy. An older pending write may finish after edits but cannot mark a newer report as copied. The browser, operating system and receiving app separately manage clipboard persistence, synchronisation, access and interpretation. We do not control copies that you paste or share.
Support and optional external support
If you email homingmobile@gmail.com, the information you choose to send is used to respond to your request. Send only what is needed and avoid passwords, verification codes, payment credentials or unnecessary personal data. The extension does not automatically send support reports or observations.
You may separately choose to support the project at https://ko-fi.com/noname84704. This is optional and unlocks no feature. The exact extension does not include a checkout, verify donations or process payment credentials. Ko-fi and its payment providers apply their own privacy, cookies, account and payment terms; visiting them can share ordinary browser/network information and a payment can share supporter/transaction details with providers and the creator. It is not anonymous merely because the extension has no analytics. Read https://more.ko-fi.com/privacy before using that service.
Sharing, deletion and changes
No workspace data is automatically sent to the publisher or a third party. Removing the extension removes its own extension data; temporary workspace data also disappears when its page is closed/reloaded. Copies already exported through clipboard, emailed or shared remain under your and recipients' control. The publisher may update this policy for changed practices, identifying affected versions and material changes. Data is used only for the disclosed comparison feature and related operation, consistent with Chrome Web Store User Data and Limited Use requirements.
