Common handling
Data is used for the described feature and its related local operation. Local processing still handles data. Some tools use selected webpage information; manual text, prices, dates, messages and results can also be private. None includes a publisher account, analytics, advertising SDK, data sale, remote executable code or a publisher server receiving your inputs/library. They do not automatically upload that data or use it for advertising/unrelated profiling. Their extension-page content policies block connection requests.
None scans Chrome's browsing-history database. Specific sections disclose deliberate/temporary processing of URLs, titles, selected text, scroll positions and YouTube routes. Full URLs can include private query/fragment values. No password, payment credential or unnecessary child identity is needed.
Retention and deletion
Saved libraries/preferences remain in this Chrome profile until you use the stated deletion/reset controls or uninstall. Closing a popup does not delete its saved library. Unsaved drafts, calculations, previews and operation state are temporary and can be lost on close/reload/update. Tab restoration is not a backup.
The extensions do not sync to Chrome/cloud or encrypt local data themselves. Device/profile users or software may be able to read it. Chrome/OS manage storage and backups. Uninstall removes extension-owned data; exported files, emails, clipboard copies and shared data remain outside that removal. The publisher cannot remotely inspect/delete your local library. A readable reference export is not an import/restore feature.
Clipboard and files
None reads existing clipboard contents; pasting is your browser action. All except Reading Pins, Return Later, Routine Shelf and Quiet Watch offer deliberate clipboard writes. Copy writes the chosen passage, original text/link or reviewed output. Chrome/OS/receiving apps control clipboard persistence, sync, access and interpretation. Clearing inputs cannot erase shared copies or a completed clipboard write. A selectable fallback, where offered, is for your own copying.
Study Snips, Reading Pins, Return Later and Reply Shelf read chosen import files and deliberately export saved/raw backups. They do not search files automatically. Raw backups may preserve malformed stored data. Routine Shelf exports reference JSON only, without import/restore.
Own-page metadata
Study Snips, Routine Shelf, Link Trim, Text Tidy, Watch Budget, Table Bridge, List Match, Pack Compare, Day Count, HKD Bill Split and Recipe Scale reuse their own full-page views. Opening/focusing uses their own extension document contexts/URLs and temporary context/document/tab/window IDs in local memory. These identify local tool pages, not visited websites, and are not publisher telemetry.
Except Study Snips, these tools use fixed opening/ready messages without entered data/results. During requested creation they may briefly retain up to 64 general closed-tab IDs from the requested window, without website URLs/titles/content. Pending own-page IDs can remain until resolved or the worker ends. Routine Shelf separately sends checklist data to its local storage worker. Study Snips has a different opener/reveal and local notebook operations, described below.
External services and contact
Opening a saved source, holiday-source link, this policy or another external website connects to that service under its practices; the extension does not attach your library/report. Optional Ko-fi links are included in all except Routine Shelf, Pack Compare, Day Count, HKD Bill Split and Recipe Scale.
At https://ko-fi.com/noname84704, Ko-fi/payment providers handle ordinary visit, cookie, account, supporter and payment data; a payment may share supporter/transaction details with the creator. Support is voluntary, unlocks no feature and is not automatically anonymous. These extensions do not process payment credentials or verify tips. See https://more.ko-fi.com/privacy.
Emailing homingmobile@gmail.com shares what you choose with the publisher and email provider. We use it to respond and handle follow-up. Send only necessary product/version/problem details, without passwords, codes or unnecessary personal data. Contact that address about access/deletion of support correspondence; this gives us no remote access to extension data on your device.
Product-specific information
1. Study Snips 1.1.0
Purpose and inputs. Study Snips saves and organises passages that you deliberately select on an HTTP(S) page, manually enter, or import. Chrome supplies the selected text and its page/frame source URL when you choose the selection menu. The extension does not scan the rest of the page, monitor everything you select or read your clipboard. Source URLs may contain private query or fragment values.
Saved locally. The notebook contains saved passage text, source URLs, notes, collection names, saved/updated/deleted dates, local record identifiers and settings such as language/default collection. Deleted passages remain in local Trash until restored or permanently deleted. Editor drafts, originally viewed snapshots and comparisons with a newer saved record are temporary. Saving, editing, importing and conflict handling can pass notebook data between this extension's own views and its local worker; these are local operations, not uploads.
Files and copying. Deliberate JSON/text exports and recovery downloads contain the chosen saved data, including Trash when the selected export includes it. Imports read the chosen local file and merge validated records. Copy writes the passages you choose to the clipboard. These external copies are not removed when you delete an entry or uninstall. A saved source opens only when you choose its link and then uses that website's ordinary network connection.
Access and opening. contextMenus provides selection-save; storage keeps the notebook. No host permissions/content scripts exist. Opening/recent actions inspect own tab contexts and validated notebook URLs/local snippet-ID queries, using temporary browser IDs and an ID-only reveal. During creation, up to 64 general closed-tab IDs can be held across the browser without a window filter or website URLs/titles. Those opening/reveal messages contain no saved passage content; separate library operations handle it locally.
2. Reading Pins 0.2.0
Purpose and capture. Reading Pins lets you deliberately capture a named reading position and jump to it on the selected matching page. Its one-shot top-document functions read the full exact URL, up to 300 characters of title, scroll/layout measurements, page type/visibility and a temporary document identifier. They do not read article text, selections, cookies, page forms or frame contents. A jump or undo changes scrolling only after your explicit action; the extension does not continuously record scrolling or open saved pages.
Saved locally. The library contains your names, exact URLs including query/fragment, bounded titles, scroll/layout measurements, capture/create/update dates, local mark IDs, revision counters and language. It can hold up to 100 points, with five per exact URL. Full URLs, titles and names may reveal private reading information. Saved points remain until deleted, reset or uninstalled; deletion is not a remote deletion of exported backups.
Temporary data and files. The current capture, draft name, search, tab/document identifiers, Undo state and import preview remain temporary in the open view. Closing it loses that temporary state. Deliberate library/raw backups create local files. A selected JSON file is read for a requested merge preview; records are saved only after the subsequent add action. Raw backups preserve the stored key even if it contains malformed or unrecognised data and must be protected accordingly.
Access. activeTab provides temporary selected-page access; scripting runs fixed one-shot Capture/verification/Jump/Undo functions; storage keeps the library/preferences. No blanket hosts, registered content scripts, page observers or continuous capture timers exist. This version never reads or writes the clipboard.
3. Return Later 0.3.0
Purpose and page access. Return Later stores reminders to revisit pages you deliberately save. Invoking the popup previews the selected normal HTTP(S) page URL/title using activeTab. Pressing Save reminder saves them with your note and chosen due time; the page body is not captured. The extension does not scan your browsing-history database or read other page forms, cookies or selected text.
Saved locally. Up to 100 reminders retain full URLs, bounded titles, notes, due/create/update times, local IDs/cycle counters and language/notification preferences, schema and revision. Full URLs and titles can contain identifying information. Opening a saved page is deliberate and does not remove it. Cancel deletes the stored reminder; editing/snoozing changes its saved information. There is no automatic page opening, cloud sync or offline saved webpage.
Browser region and time. The popup reads the browser/device default named time zone through Intl and uses the local offset/zone for its visible time-zone hint, reminder display, custom date/time and Tomorrow 09:00 choice. That named zone/offset is temporary; the stored reminders contain timestamps, not a retained named-zone or location-history field. The initial interface language also follows Chrome's UI language. There is no GPS, IP lookup or location service. A configured time zone may indicate a region but does not verify your physical position.
Scheduling and notifications. alarms schedules local due checks while Chrome runs. The optional notifications permission is requested only when you enable desktop notifications. The visible notification contains a generic due count, not URLs, titles or notes. Local badge/list operation remains available if permission is declined. Notification bookkeeping is local. Chrome/OS can delay or suppress notifications; reminders remain in the local list rather than becoming a precise-delivery guarantee.
Backup and restore. Requested raw JSON backups contain stored reminder state and may preserve malformed fields. A chosen file is decoded/validated locally in popup/worker. Up to four worker previews last at most five minutes and end on expiry, popup disconnection or worker restart. Merge/Replace writes only after Apply and required confirmation; Replace can remove existing reminders. No file logging/upload, clipboard access, host permission or content script is implemented.
4. Reply Shelf 0.2.0
Purpose and saved information. Reply Shelf keeps reusable messages that you author or deliberately import. Local storage contains message names, categories, reusable body text, favourites, active/Trash records, local IDs, create/update/trash dates, revision/generation metadata and language. Message text can include personal information if you choose to enter it. It is not obtained from email accounts or chat services; the extension has no website/message-service access and never sends a message for you.
Temporary use. Per-use placeholder values, such as a recipient name or date, expanded message previews, searches and unsaved edits remain in the open view. They are not included in normal template backups or sent to the worker as filled messages. Saving passes only the reusable template data to the local worker. Selecting a different message, reloading its saved version or closing the view clears per-use values. Copy requires a complete reviewed preview; a deliberate click writes that message to the system clipboard without reading existing clipboard contents.
Retention and files. Moving a template to Trash retains it locally until permanent deletion or an explicit library reset. JSON exports include saved templates, Trash and language; active-template text exports contain unfilled reusable text. Raw backups may preserve invalid stored data. Import Preview reads your selected UTF-8 file locally, and Add new messages saves validated new records only after your review. Import data can pass to the local worker; filled per-use values remain separate. External files and clipboard copies persist independently of local deletion.
Access. storage is the only permission. No host access, content script or automatic message insertion/sending exists. Popup and full library share local templates; record/version checks protect edits, not track emails you send. Avoid unnecessary identities or confidential template text.
5. Routine Shelf 0.2.0
Purpose and saved information. Routine Shelf stores checklist templates and one separate current run for each template. Local storage keeps template names, ordered plain-text steps, local IDs/revisions, language, current-run snapshots and your manual checkmarks. At most 20 templates with 1–40 steps each are supported. A checkmark records what you chose; it does not monitor your work or verify task completion.
Retention. Draft edits are temporary until an explicit successful save. Changing a template affects later new runs, while the current run retains its own snapshot. Starting a replacement run requires confirmation and does not retain previous-run history. Reset checks clears that run's checkmarks after confirmation. Deleting a template removes its current run too; there is no Trash or Undo. Closing/reloading loses unsaved drafts, not confirmed stored templates/runs.
Export and access. A requested readable JSON reference contains valid templates, current run snapshots/checkmarks and language. It is a reference file, not an importable backup: this version has no import/restore feature. There is no clipboard read or write feature. storage is its only declared permission; there are no website permissions, page capture, routine timers, notifications, accounts or automatic checking. Names and steps may contain private information you choose to type.
Own workspace. Opening uses exact own app contexts and temporary browser IDs. The fixed ready message carries no checklist content; separate repository requests handle local template/run data. Requested-window cleanup follows the common description. Exported references remain independent of local deletion.
6. Date Bridge 0.2.0
Purpose and temporary information. Date Bridge converts an explicitly entered calendar date/time between named time zones. It processes the entered wall-clock time, source/target zone names, any earlier/later occurrence choice, interface language, conversion results and copy report in the popup. It does not read calendars, invitations, event titles, course pages, browsing URLs or event history. Dates/times and results are not saved.
Saved preferences and region. Only a deliberate Save zones & language action stores the source zone, two target zones, language and preference schema in chrome.storage.local. Reset replaces that preference key with defaults. Zone names can express a region of interest but do not establish your physical location. Defaults are literal UTC, Europe/London and America/New_York, with Hong Kong always shown in results. The browser Intl call is supplied the chosen zone to validate/canonicalise it; it does not capture the device's default time zone or use geolocation.
Access and copying. Only storage is declared; there is no webpage permission, content script or worker. Chrome time-zone rules are used locally. Copy deliberately writes the reviewed report without reading the clipboard. Close/reload loses temporary dates/results; saved preferences remain until reset/uninstall.
7. Link Trim 0.2.1
Purpose and inputs. Link Trim previews removal of nine named UTM query fields from a supplied HTTP(S) link. You may type/paste a link. Only the popup's explicit Use current page action reads the selected page URL using activeTab; opening the popup alone starts blank. The full manual workspace does not read a website or receive the popup's draft. Complete input links can contain private query/fragment information; they remain data even when processed only locally.
Temporary handling. The original link, proposed link, removed-field names, choices and copy text remain in the open view. The tool does not visit the source/result, test whether it works, scan browsing history, fetch a page or keep a URL history. Copy original or preview writes the chosen reviewed text to the clipboard; it never reads existing clipboard data. Closing/reloading/updating can discard link drafts and results.
One saved choice. Remember language is optional. Selecting it stores only the EN/TC language in one extension-owned localStorage key. Unchecking removes that preference. Link content and results are not saved with it. This is local persistence even though the manifest has no storage permission. Invalid/unreadable preferences are not automatically replaced.
Access and opening. activeTab is the only permission; no host permission or website script exists. Full-editor opening uses exact own contexts/temporary IDs; fixed messages carry no links/results. Requested-window cleanup follows the common description. No automatic fetch or tracking-removal/anonymity guarantee is provided.
8. Quiet Watch 1.1.1
Purpose and website access. Quiet Watch optionally hides selected YouTube distractions, such as recognised feed/recommendation/comment/Shorts sections, using fixed packaged styling. A top-frame content script runs on https://www.youtube.com/*, uses the current pathname to choose a route and applies CSS classes based on page structure. It does not capture article/comment/video text, selected text, page titles, cookies or playback state for a library. It does not press Skip or control playback.
Saved locally. storage retains only Focus/hide choices, interface language, schema and revision. Those preferences remain until changed/reset/uninstalled; they are not a viewing-history database. Quiet Watch has that single YouTube host permission and no other website access. Focus starts Off. There is no clipboard read/write feature, account, analytics, advertisement or automatic extension network request.
Temporary status. While the popup checks or deliberately reapplies settings, it verifies the selected tab/window identity and the same complete HTTPS www.youtube.com URL before/after messaging. It temporarily observes loading/URL changes for that selected identity and shows bounded status such as ready/failed/enabled/route/revision. URLs, tab IDs, read epochs and status generations are not stored, logged or uploaded. A changed document invalidates the old status; saved preferences are separate. The fixed reapply message contains no page text and reads saved choices locally. These checks do not create a list of videos watched or other sites visited.
YouTube still operates its website and handles its own requests/account information. Hiding content does not upload it; disabling this extension does not delete data independently held by YouTube.
9. Text Tidy 0.2.0
Purpose and information processed. Text Tidy transforms manually supplied plain text using explicitly chosen line-break and spacing rules. It processes the original text, selected rules, language, preview and report in the open workspace. Text may include private information you choose to paste. There is no automatic webpage capture, clipboard read, file import or connection to the application from which you copied it.
Retention and copying. Original text/results remain in workspace memory, without a library, history, autosave, persistent language or sync. Close/reload/update can lose the work. Copy original writes the current source; Copy result writes the reviewed preview. Both are deliberate actions and never read the clipboard. Copies persist independently of this workspace.
Access and opening. No permissions, host permissions or content scripts are declared. Its worker handles fixed own-page opening/ready messages and temporary routing IDs, not pasted text, rules or results. Requested-window cleanup follows the common description. Pasted markup/code is not executed.
10. Measure Mate 0.1.1
Purpose and information processed. Measure Mate converts a quantity that you type between explicitly chosen compatible units/modes and prepares a labelled result/report. Quantity text, unit/mode selections, interface language, result and copy text are processed in the popup. The conversion does not infer what the quantity represents, obtain it from a webpage or read another application's data.
Retention and access. There are no declared permissions, host permissions, content scripts or background worker. No quantity history, persistent preferences, autosave, account or sync is provided. Closing/reloading the popup discards temporary data. No selected page, browsing URL, location, file or existing clipboard contents are read.
Copying. Copy deliberately writes the reviewed labelled report without reading the clipboard. If unavailable, select and copy it yourself. Clipboard and shared copies have the independent retention described above. No conversion input/result is automatically sent to the publisher.
11. Watch Budget 0.1.0
Purpose and information processed. Watch Budget estimates a session from runtimes you enter, chosen playback speed, extra minutes and a time budget. It handles those input strings, language, calculated totals and report locally in the open workspace. Extra minutes represent only the allowance you supply; it does not observe actual pauses, playback, advertising or study activity.
Retention and access. There is no saved runtime/session history, autosave, account, sync, playlist import or automatic page/video access. No permissions, host permissions or content scripts are declared. Temporary inputs/results are discarded when the workspace is closed/reloaded or replaced by an update. The tool does not know which videos you actually watched or measure a learning outcome.
Copying and opening. Copy deliberately writes a reviewed report without reading the clipboard. The worker handles fixed own-page opening/ready messages and temporary IDs, not runtimes, budget or results. Requested-window cleanup follows the common description.
12. Table Bridge 0.1.0
Purpose and information processed. Table Bridge converts manually pasted comma-separated or quoted tab-separated text into a Markdown pipe table. It processes source text, parsed cells, chosen delimiter/header settings, interface language, output and report in the open workspace. A table can contain private information you choose to paste. It does not automatically read a website, spreadsheet, file or clipboard.
Retention and access. There is no saved table history, autosave, account, sync or external conversion service. No permissions, host permissions or content scripts are declared. Source and result remain in the workspace memory and can be lost on close/reload/update. Pasted cell text is data; this is not a spreadsheet engine that executes formulas or an automatic scraper.
Copying and opening. Copy deliberately writes the complete reviewed output without reading the clipboard. The worker handles fixed own-page opening/ready messages and temporary IDs, not cells or output. Requested-window cleanup follows the common description.
13. List Match 0.1.0
Purpose and information processed. List Match compares two lists that you manually enter/paste, using exact matching and explicit duplicate counts. It processes both complete lists, language, comparison result and copied report in the open workspace. The content can reveal personal or private information if you choose to use such entries; the tool does not look up identities or enrich the lists from another source.
Retention and access. There are no declared permissions, host permissions or content scripts, and no website/clipboard reading. No list history, autosave, account or sync is provided. Closing/reloading/updating can discard the temporary lists/output. It does not obtain contact lists, membership records or files automatically.
Copying and opening. Copy deliberately writes the reviewed result without reading the clipboard. The worker handles fixed own-page opening/ready messages and temporary IDs, not list entries/results. Requested-window cleanup follows the common description.
14. Pack Compare 0.1.0
Purpose and information processed. Pack Compare compares two manually entered product pack offers by compatible-unit price and upfront cost. It handles the entered price, quantity, unit, pack count, currency labels, language, computed values and report in the open workspace. These are offer assumptions, not automatically obtained purchase transactions. It does not access payment accounts, receipts, card data, shop pages or your buying history.
Retention and access. There are no declared permissions, host permissions or content scripts. Inputs/reports are temporary, with no history, persistent settings, autosave, account or sync. Close/reload/update can lose the comparison. A currency label does not trigger an exchange-rate request, and no price or inventory is fetched. This tool does not process a payment or decide whether an offer applies to you.
Copying and opening. Copy deliberately writes the reviewed comparison without reading the clipboard. The worker handles fixed own-page opening/ready messages and temporary IDs, not prices/reports. Requested-window cleanup follows the common description. No Ko-fi link is included.
15. Day Count 0.2.0
Purpose and information processed. Day Count counts a calendar interval from entered start/end dates and your explicit inclusion/holiday choices. It handles those dates, interface language, matched/excluded dates, subtotals and report in the open workspace. It does not read calendars, events, work records, employment data or location. A date you enter may still be personal information even without an event name.
Retention and sources. No inputs/results, language preferences or date history are saved. There is no autosave, account or sync; closing/reloading/updating can lose the work. Hong Kong general-holiday data is bundled locally. Source links open only when you click them and then connect to the source website under its own practices. There is no automatic holiday fetch/update or current-location detection.
Access, copying and opening. No permissions, host permissions or content scripts are declared. Copy deliberately writes the reviewed report without reading the clipboard. The worker handles fixed own-page opening/ready messages and temporary IDs, not dates. Requested-window cleanup follows the common description. No Ko-fi link is included.
16. HKD Bill Split 0.1.0
Purpose and information processed. HKD Bill Split allocates a manually entered final HKD bill among numbered positions. It handles the final total including fees as entered, people count, language, per-position amounts, total checks and report. If you enter a real bill, its amount and allocation relate to an actual expense; local processing does not make that non-financial data. No names, contacts, account numbers or payment credentials are requested.
Retention and access. There are no declared permissions, host permissions or content scripts. No bill/debt/payment history, persistent preferences, autosave, account or sync is provided. Temporary inputs/results can be lost on close/reload/update. The tool does not read bank/payment apps, receipts, bills from websites or files. It does not take payment, send requests to other people or record whether anyone paid.
Copying and opening. Copy deliberately writes the reviewed numbered amounts without reading the clipboard. The worker handles fixed own-page opening/ready messages and temporary IDs, not totals, counts or allocations. Requested-window cleanup follows the common description. No Ko-fi link is included.
17. Recipe Scale 0.2.0
Purpose and information processed. Recipe Scale scales manually entered ingredient quantities by your chosen original/target servings. It handles serving counts, ingredient names, quantity/unit labels, interface language, exact fractions, decimal displays and report in the open workspace. It does not fetch a recipe, read grocery purchases, obtain a dietary profile or infer an allergy/health condition.
Retention and access. There are no declared permissions, host permissions or content scripts. No recipe history, persistent preferences, autosave, account, website capture or sync is provided. Temporary ingredients/results can be lost on close/reload/update. Unit labels are manually supplied text; the tool does not contact a nutrition, density or unit-conversion service.
Copying and opening. Copy deliberately writes the reviewed report without reading the clipboard. The worker handles fixed own-page opening/ready messages and temporary IDs, not ingredients or quantities. Requested-window cleanup follows the common description. No Ko-fi link is included.
