February is Career Technical Education (CTE) Month at Ohio Virtual Academy! This year’s theme, “Passion into Pathways,” encourages students to explore what they love and discover how their interests can turn into real career opportunities.

CTE combines strong academics with hands-on, real-world learning in fields like healthcare, engineering, business, IT, and the arts. These programs help students build practical skills, explore careers, and connect classroom learning to life beyond high school—whether that path leads to college, the workforce, the military, or entrepreneurship.

Across Ohio, CTE is making a big impact. During the 2023–24 school year, more than 141,000 students participated in CTE courses, and nearly 95% of CTE students moved on to employment, continued education, military service, or service within six months of graduating.
