Visual ICT4S

The visual outputs from this workshop will form an alternative ICT4S conference proceedings: Visual ICT4S.

Visual ICT4S will be a co-creation of sketchnotes and visuals by conference members.
Contributions will be peer reviewed and published after the conference (submissions for the prologue will be peer reviewed earlier).

Submissions

Visual ICT4S will contain a prologue that sets the scene for the conference. The prologue will eventually be matched with an epilogue of reflections on what people learnt, how they will change their practices etc.

We seek submissions now for this prologue:

peoples' backgrounds
expectations of the conference
motivations (in general, for attending the conference, the sketching workshop...)
takes on sustainability...and so on.

Notes:

Prologue submissions will be peer reviewed to ensure the awesomeness of Visual ICT4S (and to meet quality assurance requirements for travel funding).
Submissions are due on the 28th February. Prologue submissions are not a requirement of attending the workshop.
We encourage drawn submissions but the submissions do not have to be visual - text is good too.
Remember the goal is "sketch". It doesn't have to be a perfectly rendered artwork.
Will will decide on the format for Visual ICT4S during the workshop, in the meantime if it makes you happy, use the landscape CHI template.
