Short-Term Memory

This program is designed to assess short-term visual memory.

The algorithm of the program was as follows: the test participant had to go through 5 stages of 10 attempts each. At the first stage, in the first five attempts, you had to react to a single monochrome signal, memorize its location, and click on the corresponding circle. In the next five attempts, you need to react to a color signal. At each subsequent stage, the number of simultaneously appearing signals increases by one. In the fifth stage, you need to memorize the location of five signals and click on the corresponding circle.

At the end of the test, the program offers to fill in information about the test taker and provides the following indicators that characterize the manifestation of the quality under study:

number of accurate clicks (n);
percentage of accurate taps (%);
number of errors (n);
test duration (s);
duration at stages 1 - 5 (c);
reaction time at stages 1-5 (ms);
percentage of errors at stages 1-5.

During the test, you need to respond quickly and accurately to visual cues. The app's display shows the number of taps you have already made and how many more are left (stages 3, 4, 5).

To objectively assess the level of short-term visual memory, the percentage of errors made by the athlete during this test was determined. A mistake is considered to be clicking on a circle that does not match the proposed one.

Also in the settings, you can save a JSON backup of your measurements anywhere (Save backup), add measurements from another device (Add backup), replace already saved measurements with new ones (Replace backup), or delete all data (Delete all data).
