Sisler CREATE post-high filmmaking students are available for select paid content-creation projects, including promotional videos, social media content, motion graphics, and documentary-style storytelling.
Like apprentices in other skilled professions, our students are developing their craft through real-world client work. Every project is completed under the guidance and supervision of experienced instructors, ensuring a collaborative process and clear communication from concept to delivery.
By partnering with Sisler CREATE, individuals and organizations and gain access to motivated emerging filmmakers while supporting hands-on learning opportunities for Manitoba’s next generation of media creators. Clients receive high-quality, supervised production services at a cost that is typically lower than that of an established commercial production company.

Project: Documentary-style video
A group of CREATE film students created a series of short videos featuring some of UM's outstanding emeriti, showcasing the diversity of their contributions to teaching, research, and service, and the lasting impact of their work.
Client Testimonial: "The University of Manitoba enlisted the help of Sisler High School’s CREATE Program to develop a series of 13 short legacy videos highlighting the works of some notable UM Emeriti (retired esteemed professors). The team of students hired to take on this project exhibited a high degree of professionalism and care for their craft. Under the mentorship and support of the CREATE Program instructors, their talents were reflected through the quality of the end product, and we are extremely satisfied with how the videos turned out!"
– Francene Perehinec, Family Resource and Faculty Success Coordinator, University of Manitoba
Project: Logo Motion Graphics
Each year, the Festival du Voyageur marketing team works with a local graphic designer to create a unique "themed" logo. They have partnered with the Sisler CREATE post-high filmmaking class for the last few years to animate the logo for social media.
Client Testimonial: "For the past 3 years, we have had the pleasure of collaborating with the talented students and educators of the Sisler CREATE program to bring our annual campaign logos to life through motion graphics. The creativity, professionalism, and fresh perspectives the students bring to each project are a true reflection of the program’s high quality. Each year, one student submission is selected as the final motion graphic and unveiled to our community of festivalgoers. The animation then becomes an integral part of our marketing campaign and is also featured in our official post-Festival recap video. Giving students the opportunity to see their creative work come to life as part of a real-world campaign is something we truly value and it brings us plenty of joie de vivre!"

Project: Highlight Video
Our students were asked to film the 2026 One Manitoba Youth Summit and create several highlight videos for use on social media.
Client testimonial: "One of the best parts of the One Manitoba Youth Summit was seeing talented young Manitobans bring the event to life through their own lens. The students at Sisler Create didn't just film the day; they were able to capture the energy and the optimism that made the summit so special. The students displayed professionalism and enthusiasm to their work and the final video tells the story of what can happen when young people come together to share ideas and shape Manitoba's future. We have incredible talent right here in Manitoba, and programs like Sisler CREATE are helping students turn that talent into real world experience and exciting career opportunities. I'm proud to support their work. Thank you to the students and staff at Sisler CREATE for helping us tell the story of One Manitoba through your creativity and passion."
