Details of the program:

• One school year long, running from September to June

• Classes are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 3:30pm

• It is considered a "post-high" program, housed within Sisler High School

• Every Monday is spent at New Media Manitoba's StudioLab xR for hands-on training learning everything from virtual production, to performance capture, and projection mapping.

• Focus of instruction is documentary and narrative filmmaking, along with client-based, video production.

• Students learn technical and visual storytelling skills, along with skills for project management and effective client relations

November/December/January:

• Documentary production

• Video contest entries

• Skill development practice

• Narrative short film pitching, development, and pre-production

• Skill development practice

• Narrative film production workshops

• Client work opportunities

April/May:

• Narrative short film production and post-production

• Client work opportunities

• Virtual production at New Media Manitoba's StudioLab xR

June:

• Year-end screening

• Internships

• Participation in the 48 Film Festival (optional)
