Classifications:
“A” – 80 or More Total Musicians
“B” – 41-79 Total Musicians
"C" - 1-40 Total Musicians
Scoring: UIL Rubric (AREA Sheets) - 5 Judge Panel (Prelims / Finals)
• Music Performance (Judges 1, 2 & 3)
• Visual Performance (Judge 4 & 5)
Advance to Finals:
Class “C” – 4 Bands (if 11 or less total bands in prelims), or 6 Bands (if 12 or more total bands in prelims)
Class “A/B" – 8 Bands
Caption Awards Awarded for Both Class “A” and Class “B” (Finals Only)
•Outstanding Music Performance (sum of the scores between all three music judges)
•Outstanding Visual Performance (sum of the scores between both visual judges) - Color Guard will not be scored individually, but within the Visual Performance Sheet
•Outstanding Percussion Performance (sum of the percussion scores between all three music judges)
•Outstanding Drum Majors (Not included in sheets - individual forced ranking sheet)
