Jon Merritt is a percussion teacher in the Round Rock school district of Austin, TX. Jon is a graduate of Ohio University in Athens, OH. He also marched with the Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps in 1991,1992 and 1993. 

Jon was the percussion section leader for the World Champion Cadets Drum Corps in 1993. He also enjoys performing with Several Brass Bands and Orchestras. After graduating from Ohio University with his Music Education Degree Jon was a band director for 13 years in Columbus, OH. 

He recently moved to Texas and is extremely excited to be teaching and performing with some of the finest educators in the country.
