Civil engineering is not only an engineering discipline; it is the way of developing the world. This is the most important and oldest field of engineering that deals with concept, planning and designing of any project to the execution and maintenance of the project.
The department of Applied/Civil Engineering has a conglomeration of faculty strength from different specialisations. They always encourage students to develop skills and career development.
Salient features of Department:
The department has installed various equipment for Material Testing and Soil Machines Laboratory from time to time. The department has a facility to test the material. The department has cement testing machine, universal testing machine, compression testing and izod impact testing machine.
The department has a facility to testing/Consultancy of the following material.
I. PHYSICAL TESTING OF ALL BUILDING MATERIAL
II. SOIL TESTING
III. STRUCTURAL DESIGN WORK (R.C.C. & STEEL)
Encouraging and motivating the students to participate in various curricular, co-curricular, extracurricular and sports activities for the holistic development among students.
Providing ample opportunity to students to bridge the gap between academic curriculum and industry expectation.
