South Intensive Program

Through the organization if a every -2-year South Intensive Program (SIP) interchanged with an every-2-year North Intensive Program (NIP), Vives & Howest Universities of Applied Sciences want to strenggthen the West-Flemisch synergy project with partners in the Philippines

From 2019 onwards, and for 4 years long, Belgian and Philippine students with different educational backgrounds will co-create concepts through an interdisciplinary approach. They want to tackle specific challenges with regard to sustainable agriculture (ranging from service, logistics, adaptation of existing products, application, infrastructure, business model...)

All selected case studies are beneficial to the overall goal of the Synergy project of the Province of West-Flanders, Belgium:

"Adaptation to Climate Change through Entrepreneurship in Sustainable Agriculture Striving for Mitigation Co-Benefits".
