From The Lab Newsletter: Winter 2023 Vol. 3, No. 11

This feature is something I really value. This resume was originally a project that I didn't think much of and didn't put a lot of my time into. When my teacher first shared the idea of making a infographic resume with us, I thought it was a good idea and definitely knew it was something I should do to catch the eyes of colleges. Then, my teacher expressed interest in my resume and told me that she wanted to include it in that semester’s newsletter. From then on in, my teacher and I worked together to perfect the resume and make it something that would be an example for her future students. I'm so glad that she saw the potential of my work and that we worked together to ensure that my vision was executed exactly how I envisioned it. Overall, I do think that this entire experience did show me how important it is to "stick out" from others in processes where hundreds of people are considered; such as job applications. 

HHS Orchestra 2023 Spring Concert Pamphlet Cover Design

This feature was actually a collaboration with a classmate of mine. They did the artwork seen in the background of the cover and I took their art and incorporated it in a way that I'm very happy with. I'm not a drawing person and I prefer graphic/digital design, so I was very grateful to have somebody willing to collaborate with me on this. I really enjoyed the design process and the time I spent going back and forth with my Digital Art and Design teacher in order to make this cover truly great. Overall, I'm glad that I did this cover and would be open to doing another if the opportunity was presented to me!
