Dr. Easterman is concerned after Liliya immediately becomes a liability within the confines of her own Trial Environment. 

He locks himself in his office and contemplates what is missing from the 'family' he is trying to build for his 'children'.

Inspired, he develops "The Lycan Asset", what he believes (for now) will complete this dynamic.

Amidst the growing tension between the US and Cuban/The Soviets - and following the failed Bay of Pigs Invasion - the escalation of the nuclear panic, Easterman decides to get Murkoff in on the game using radioactive plutonium scrap recovered in Cuba.

Guided by a strange and prophetic dream, Easterman emerges believing he may be a messenger of God, and through Him, something more holy than man. Believing the biological developments to Reagent brains exposed to Liliya within the Trials, he employs a new program to simultaneously give Murkoff a foothold in the arms race, while also progressing his research.

While his most loyal partners back him up, cracks begin to form in the blistering system of trust built inside the Sinyala Facility.
