In the legal world, strong communication is vital to the functioning of institutions and the protection of individual rights. Legal interpretation services and legal translation services both play an important role when attorneys and courts need to communicate with non-native English speakers.

• Deceive: (of a person) cause (someone) to believe something that is not true, typically to gain some personal advantage.

• Reparatory Agreement: an agreement of compensation for an injury; redress for a wrong inflicted.

• Conditional suspension: the prosecution is suspended if the defendant confesses to the crime and compensates [...] the victim for damage caused, or takes appropriate steps to compensate for the damage, and, given the circumstances of the case, this procedure is sufficient. 

• Abbreviated procedure: a special criminal process that seeks to speed up the investigation, prosecution, and ruling of certain crimes.

• Prosecution: the institution and conducting of legal proceedings against someone in respect of a criminal charge.
