Worship

We welcome you to join our faith community and invite you to
attend a worship service.

• To start your experience you will meet the greeters from our monthly lay leaders group.  They will shake your hand (or give a greeting), give you a bulletin (order of worship), and invite you to have some refreshments.  Other members of the congregation also gather in the narthex (lobby or entrance) to have fellowship, grab a cookie, and get some hot brew.

• Our bulletins will be your point of reference during the service.  The announcements for upcoming events are typically printed on the last page of the bulletin or provided on an insert page.   The areas where the congregation speaks are in bold font.  We use a projection screen for the music but also have hymnals in each pew for your preference.
  Members from the monthly lay leaders group reads the first and second readings along with the responsive reading.  The Pastor reads the Gospel and  shares the sermon.

• Offering is collected in a labeled plate in the church narthex, prayers, and final blessings are made.

• One designated Sunday of the month, we take communion.  We use bread or wafers and red wine, and have a white grape juice option.

• One designated Sunday of the month, we collect Noisy offerings.  This is where some of the youth collect change in small buckets from the congregation to make as much noise as possible, and the youth select an organization to donate to.
