Composting is available and can drastically reduce your use of trash. Lots of things can be put in these bins, from bones and meat to old pizza boxes. Compost is picked up by the city every two weeks on Thursday.
A very convenient and inexpensive way to get into composting is to purchase a small compost pail that can be placed in the garage and used on a day-to-day basis to capture your compostable material. When full, your small compost bin can then be emptied into the main compost bin in the bin shed.
