Tab Cleaner helps you identify and close duplicate browser tabs.
Tab Cleaner accesses open-tab URLs, page titles and tab information, including window identifiers and pinned, active, audio-playing and loading status. It uses this information to identify identical URLs, display duplicates and avoid closing protected tabs.
This information is processed locally in your browser. Tab Cleaner does not send it to the developer or external servers.
The tabs permission allows Tab Cleaner to access the URLs and titles of open tabs to identify and display duplicates in your current window or across all windows.
Tab Cleaner does not maintain a persistent browsing-history database or retain tab URLs and titles beyond the processing needed for its duplicate-tab functionality.
Tab Cleaner does not sell or share your tab data with third parties. It does not include advertising trackers or analytics, and no account is required.
Tab Cleaner uses information accessed through Chrome APIs only to provide its duplicate-tab functionality. Its use and transfer of that information comply with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Tab data is not used for advertising, unrelated profiling, creditworthiness or lending decisions.
You choose whether to scan the current window or all windows and whether to close the identified duplicates. You can stop further access by disabling or uninstalling the extension.
This policy will be updated if the extension’s data practices change. Any future paid features that introduce additional data handling will be reflected in the policy and applicable store disclosures before those practices begin.
