Invoice Maker
Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Developer ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and discloses information in connection with the mobile application "Invoice Maker" (also referred to in-app as "Core Invoice") and related services (the "App").
1. Overview
Invoice Maker is designed to let users create invoices, generate PDF files, and share those files from an Apple device. Based on the current version of the App, most invoice-related data is processed locally on the user's device.
2. Information We Process
A. Information you enter in the App
When you use the App, you may enter information such as:
- business name;
- customer or company name;
- invoice number;
- invoice date;
- invoice description;
- amount and currency information.
This information is used to generate invoice PDFs and support the App's core functionality.
B. Locally stored settings
The App may store limited settings and usage information locally on your device, including:
- your business name;
- your selected or default currency;
- the number of free invoice exports used.
In the current version of the App, this information is stored locally on the device using Apple's local storage mechanisms.
C. Generated PDF files
When you create an invoice, the App generates a PDF file on your device so you can preview, export, or share it through Apple's system share sheet.
D. Purchase and entitlement information
If you make an in-app purchase, Apple processes the transaction. We do not receive your full payment card or billing details. The App may receive limited purchase and entitlement information from Apple, such as whether you have an active subscription or lifetime entitlement, so that premium features can be unlocked and purchases can be restored.
3. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect in the Current Version
Based on the current version of the App, we do not intentionally collect or operate our own backend to store:
- account registration data, because the App does not require account creation;
- payment card details, because Apple handles payments;
- precise location data;
- contacts, photos, microphone, or camera data;
- advertising identifiers for cross-app tracking;
- third-party analytics or advertising SDK data.
If a future version of the App adds new data practices, we will update this Privacy Policy before or when those changes take effect, as required by law.
4. How We Use Information
We use information processed by the App to:
- create and format invoice PDFs;
- remember limited local preferences;
- enforce free usage limits;
- determine whether premium features should be available after a purchase or restore action;
- maintain, secure, and improve the App.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may disclose or make information available in the following circumstances:
- Apple may process payment, subscription, and restore-related information under its own terms and privacy policies;
- third-party apps or services you choose from the iOS share sheet may receive invoice PDFs or related data that you decide to share with them;
- we may disclose information if required to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
6. Data Retention
Because the current version of the App primarily stores data locally on your device:
- invoice input data and local settings generally remain on your device until you change or delete them, delete the App, or erase device data;
- generated PDF files may remain on your device or in third-party apps and services if you save or share them;
- Apple may retain transaction and purchase-related records according to Apple's own policies.
We do not currently state a fixed server-side retention period because the current version of the App does not appear to rely on a Developer-operated backend for invoice storage.
7. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have legal rights regarding your personal data, including rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing.
Because the current version of the App stores most data locally on your device, many privacy actions can be taken directly by you, for example:
- editing or deleting invoice data in the App;
- deleting generated PDF files from your device or from services where you saved them;
- deleting the App and its local data from your device;
- managing subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings.
If you contact us with a privacy request, we will respond in accordance with applicable law. If we do not possess the requested data because it is stored only on your device or by Apple, we will let you know.
8. International Transfers
If you use Apple services or third-party sharing destinations, your information may be processed in countries other than your own, subject to the privacy practices and safeguards of those providers.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age at which they can lawfully consent to personal data processing in their jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a Developer-operated backend.
10. Security
We take reasonable steps appropriate to the nature of the App to reduce privacy and security risks. However, no method of electronic storage, transmission, or device use is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for protecting access to your device and reviewing any information before sharing it with third parties.
11. Third-Party Services
The App relies on Apple services for app distribution and in-app purchases. When you interact with Apple services or share content to third-party apps, their terms, policies, and practices apply.
Examples may include:
- the Apple App Store;
- Apple's in-app purchase and restore systems;
- email, messaging, cloud storage, or document services you choose when sharing a PDF.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, where required by law, provide additional notice.
