Grading: We grade your pattern to other sizes you need for the production.Â
Marking: After grading all sizes you need for a production, you will figure out what ratio of sizes you would want to produce. Tell us the ratio and width of fabric you will be cutting, then we will put all patterns in to this long paper that will guide cutters to cut rolls of fabric. We try hard to figure out to save every yard of the fabric.
We don't really know. Because every roll of fabrics has different yardage, and we don't know how many plys you will be cutting.
Yes if sizes you are looking for is in same category of the pattern, but no if it's not. Same category meaning if the pattern is regular small, sizes can be graded are XS, M, L, and XL. It can not be graded to Plus sizes not children's sizes. If you want to grade a regular size to those other categories, you need to get a whole new pattern for that category. Simply because, basic rule for shape of body are different for each of categories.
Of course you can. Many of big brands always have their own spec chart that shows grading rules so they can have their own fits for their their designs. If it is always helpful and works better if you can provide us the grading rules for all sizes, but if you do not have idea, you can request us to use our regular grading rule.
