Memoir Grief & Loss | Psychotherapy

Bonnie believes that creativity produces healing properties.

Healing through creativity can take many forms: gardening, sewing & handwork, painting, playing an instrument, redecorating a room, or writing to name just a few.

Writing is Bonnie’s most recent creative outlet. She uses it as a vehicle to give attention to social issues, memorialize family stories, and support her own healing process.

A byproduct is role-modeling self-actualization, entertaining, and supporting readers in their own healing process.

A questioning spirit by nature, Bonnie never outgrew the, “Why?” phase of childhood. As she matured her questions became more complex, “Why do people do the things they do? Why does tragedy and suffering happen? How to people heal?”

Curiosity about the inner workings of human behavior led Bonnie to the career choice of Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She currently runs a successful private psychotherapy practice in Grass Valley, CA where she listens to personal stories and uses a variety of therapeutic techniques to support individuals’ mental health and healing processes. Bonnie’s greatest joy is “walking beside” and supporting family, friends & clients as they grow, heal, and succeed in life.
