Hello, I'm Sierra! I have a profound interest in accreting neutron stars. During my Ph.D., I discovered the first candidates for H-triggered bursts. My research combines NICER and RXTE data with MESA simulations in order to understand this newly observed regime. I am also very active both locally and internationally in mentoring and science communication!
