My research focuses on shear-dominated, vortex driven flows across macro and microscale regimes. At the macroscale, we leverage vortex rings for targeted engineering applications, while at the microscale, we investigate how micro-vortices within droplet-based microfluidic platforms generate mechanical stress on encapsulated living matter. These studies intersect broader domains of multiphase flow and droplet dynamics, offering insights into fluid phenomena at different spatial-temporal scales. For my future endeavours, I want to explore how the fluid flow influence the life of small-scale beings.
